| "I think your work is excellent. You have a strong sense of style, texture, and wonderful and imaginative layout. You are also able to draw caricatures of 'good looking' people, and make them interesting. I had seen, and admired the drawing you did for the LA concert of Forbidden Broadway." Ken Fallin (Renowned Forbidden Broadway caricature artist) “May I say that your work is stunning. I went through your website and I truly believe you could be the next Hirschfeld if you wanted to. And being a huge fan I don't say that lightly. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I can't wait to see your work again.” "You are unbelievable. All of your stuff is so entertaining and such a riot, and everyone at Wicked who has seen mine has lost their mind for it. Thank you so much." "You are a... genius. This is the essence of what I love about collaboration... the essence of thearecraft... that you put out ideas and then someone makes them even better than you were imagining. I can't wait to share with you the reaction of my colleagues." "Wanted to drop a note to thank you for the beautiful artwork... You are truly talented! “...My most heart-felt thanks for the illustration you sent me. It was really very touching and I will cherish it always. I've never been immortalized before. What a thrill! Thank you so much!” "I am thrilled with the poster!" |
"Your work is incredible! It's both humbling and thrilling to see my image captured by your great talent." - Amy Ryan (Oscar and Tony nominee in response to a sketch commissioned for the release of Gone Baby Gone.) “What can I say except, WOW! I was sooooo flattered by your artwork. Your drawing was something I had always dreamed of having done. I always thought and hoped, like a lot of actors on Broadway, that I would one day be drawn by Hirschfeld. But that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. And then, Steve Orich gave us guys this... masterpiece! The picture was a big smash at our theatre. You've got a hell of a career and future." "The opening night gift went over like gang busters... they loved, loved, loved it. Thank you Justin. Your work is unparalleled, and I hope I will have many more Broadway openings for which I can commission another wonderful illustration. Thank you!" "Oh my God, Justin! It's amazing!! I love it! It's awesome! I just checked out your site! You are a "Billy, Steve and I have never looked better! If [Squigs] is half as talented as an actor, I'm dying to see him onstage! ...I'm a HUGE fan!! Woo hoo to Squigs!" “Just wanted to thank you for your terrific illustration. I really do love it. I've framed it and have it hanging in my dressing room. Again, thanks so much and keep up the brilliant work.” "I just wanted to let you know that the caricature went over just smashingly. Everyone was so pleased and thrilled to get it. I can't even describe people's reactions. I went on a vacation last week to London and Scotland and delivered copies to my producer, casting director and choreographer. Thanks so much again for all of the amazing work. I know a lot of my castmates were checking out your website." I LOVED the rendering! Thanks again!” |

| "How director Madama got them to deliver such a slick and polished production in a mere 10 days of rehearsal is beyond me. And if that isn't enough, Justin Robertson (Pooch) spent his so-called "free time" doing a detailed caricature of the cast in which he drew each and every one of the cast members after borrowing their headshots from Madama. You've got to see his work, available on www.squigsink.com as well as his right-on caricature of Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Lovett. And given Robertson's pin-point perfect timing as Pooch, I won't be surprised if he's just as big a star as she is some day."
